What’s that old phrase again? You can take the boy from Wales but you can’t take Wales from the boy? Well our Dom is living proof that this is a load of old cobblers as he has left his Welsh roots behind, even though he was born in Coventry, and has spread his wings and fluttered off to Vienna to go and enjoy a more cultural existence, far away from Welshmen who can be a little over familiar in the male bonding department at times with all that rugby and close harmony singing. While most snooker players’ idea of culture is reading a book, Dom enjoys what would be termed ‘well gay pastimes’ by Welsh people. His hobbies include butterfly spotting, going to the opera and the ballet and dying his hair. But there is one bit of Wales that will always be with Dom, no, not the dodgy fashion sense, but the singing. Dom sings his little heart out from dawn until dusk every single day, whether it be a gentle ’Delilah’ in the bath at home or something a little harder out on the Vienna streets after dark, our Dom can belt the classics out with the best of them. One thing is for sure, they broke the mould when they made our Dom, much like a Viennese Waltz he has our heads in a spin and much like a Viennese Whirl, he’s a real housewives choice. Bless his little stripey socks.
(EH? What do you mean he’s moved back to England? Oh well, never mind)

Heard him singing live in Fuerth once. WOW, what a voice! He is definitely the best singer among the snookerplayers or the best snookerplayer among the singers!
