Day Four Press Conferences

Through this afternoon is four times champion John Higgins, yet to reach beyond the second round since he last lifted the title, he appears in more confident mood this year than perhaps he has been the last few seasons, if he maintains his game to the standard he did in beating Day, he has to be a contender.

The first result of day four was a win for The Jester from Leicester, Mark Selby, the champion of two years ago came through a late scare from Robert Milkins to books his place to play Sam Baird in Round 2. Here is what they both had to say afterwards:
