Hard to oppose in Wales

Unfortunately once again the best of sevens are winning and I’m losing and for me, in the current climate that means only one player can win, as he’s in the right place, the right time. This is not a preview, it is simply an attempt to recoup the foolish losses of the past few weeks.

There is really only one player to back this week in the seaside mecca of Llandudno. It’s Ronnie, with a saver on Judd. Enjoy it if it’s your kind of gig, in particular the excellent ITV coverage, but for me the best of seven comps are wearing thin.

Recommended Bet: 5 points on O’Sullivan at 2/1. 1 point each way on Judd at 9/1.

Monday Twitter treble, 1 point

Here’s the stuff I was sent.

The World Grand Prix was staged for the first time in 2015, in the seaside town of Llandudno in North Wales. It is contested by the top 32 players from a unique ranking list. Judd Trump won the inaugural title, beating Ronnie O’Sullivan 10-7 in the final. The tournament is televised by ITV4. In 2016 it will be a ranking event for the first time.
