Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle All the Way, oh what fun it is to play the baize on Christmas Day, Whooah!!
OK it’s not quite Christmas Day, even I wouldn’t expect people to enter a tournament instead of eating their turkey or vegetarian/vegan alternative but the festive cheer will be there for all to see at the second visit to the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds for Heat 4 of the Snookerbacker Classic 2013 on Saturday December 15th.
The event will have a distinctly yuletide feel with players receiving ‘presents’ instead of ‘packs’, Mrs SB’s blockbusting mince pies replacing her excellent cakes, the first appearance of SB’s Bulging Festive Sack and lots more seasonal additions. Anyone who would like to come along to the event is more than welcome and assured of a good time.
Following the deadline date on Thursday I can now confirm that I have 1 place available which will be given to the first player to contact me to arrange the payment of their entrance fee. Apart from Dublin, which still have 4 places available this is the last chance for players in the UK to grab a place in the number one amateurs-only snooker event on the circuit.
If you want the remaining place then please contact me by any of the methods on this page.
To see results and read the reports from the heats to date and find out everything you need to know about the Snookerbacker Classic click here.
When I have all 16 places filled I will let everyone know when the draw will take place, this will be done live on Twitter.
Please note that this event clashes with the second day of the main rounds of the Scottish PTC, this has affected entries without a doubt but I set the date when this event was supposed to be held in Europe so it’s World Snooker’s fault. Either way, there is still a place up for grabs at Finals Day which is already shaping up to be a cracker.
