Filed under: snookerbacker @ 3:00 pm

There is a short period of snookerlessness at the moment but to help brighten up the gloom currently descended on baize fans those chaps at Apollobet have decided to stump up one heck of a prize for a Tipster Contest on next week’s PTC Grand Finals from Galway.

The winner of this competition will win a £100 bet of their choice on the World Championship with Apollobet, a prize which is not to be sniffed at. You can find their full range of prices for the PTC Grand Finals by clicking here.

The full draw for the event can be found here

The Rules

Below there are 8 first round matches listed, your first task is to predict the score of each match, they are all Best of 7 frames. If you correctly guess the winner of the match you will score 2 points, if you get the right score too you will score a further 5 points.

Dominic Dale v Xiao Guodong  (winner plays Judd Trump)
John Higgins v Jamie Jones  (winner plays Andrew Higginson)
Ben Woollaston v Ding Junhui  (winner plays Mark Selby)
Martin Gould v Stephen Lee  (winner plays Michael Holt)
Barry Hawkins v Jack Lisowski  (winner plays Neil Robertson)
Fergal O’Brien v Joe Perry  (winner plays Graeme Dott)
Mark Davis v Tom Ford  (winner plays Stephen Maguire)
Ricky Walden v Matthew Stevens  (winner plays Ronnie O’Sullivan)

It is then time to select your four further scoring players, one player from each of the groups listed below. For every frame they win from the last 16 stage onwards you will receive 1 point.

Group One: Dale, Guodong, Trump, Higgins, Jones, Higginson.

Group Two: Woollaston, Ding, Selby, Gould, Lee, Holt.

Group Three: Hawkins, Lisowski, Robertson, O’Brien, Perry, Dott.

Gropu Four: Davis, Ford, Maguire, Walden, Stevens, O’Sullivan.

The winner is the person with the most points at the end of the competition.

The usual rules apply regarding multiple and anonymous entries and all that. A valid email must be included in the box provided for the entry to count (only visible to me). The winner will have his/her free bet assigned to their Apollobet account, if you don’t have an account with them simply click the banner below to open one and get a further free bet on top.

The PTC Finals start on Wednesday 14th March and the competition will close when the first ball is struck.

I will put a cut and paste template in the comments section, the best of luck.
