The Dublin Qualifier is this Saturday

It’s a key couple of weeks in the Snookerbacker Classic as this Saturday sees us over in Dublin followed by the final chance for players to make Finals Day in Essex on the 10th.

The first two events have been a great success and hopefully the same will be said on Saturday about the Irish leg. Now, being half Irish myself I know that they tend to like doing things at their own pace and that is why this event is a little bit different from the others in that entries will be accepted on the day at the Crossguns Club in Phibsboro, by the guv’nor there Fin Ruane.

Here is how it will work on Saturday:

Those players that have entered and paid their entry fee: Should arrive at the club for 11am to commence play, this also applies to those that pay between now and Friday.

Those players that have reserved a place but have not paid their entry fee by Friday: Should arrive at the club at 10.30am to register and pay their entrance fee directly to Fin.

Those players wishing to play but who have not reserved a place or paid entry fee: Should arrive at the club at 10.30am to register and pay their entrance fee directly to Fin. However, please be mindful that you will be treated on a first-come first-entered basis and that when all places are filled they are filled.

If you wish to reserve or pay for a place in advance of Saturday to secure your place in the event please either use the Paypal facility on the sidebar of the blog or contact Fin at the club via the details on this page. The entrance fee is 50 Euros (£44 on Paypal).  

The draw for the tournament will take place at 10.45am on Saturday and no late entries will be accepted. Once the draw is made it will be posted on the blog and regular score updates will be made throughout the day live on here and on Twitter.
