PTC 9 Day 2

Filed under: snookerbacker @ 8:31 am

Good Morning All. Day Two gets under way today with the likes of John ‘The Muzzy’ Higgins, Mark Selby, Judd Trump and MJW all in action over in Antwerp.

Ronnie O’Sullivan and Neil Robertson came through yesterday along with fellow top 16’s Graeme Dott and Stephen Lee. The other qualifiers from the top half were old Angles McManus, Ireland’s Davy Morris and youngsters Michael White and Jack Lisowski. Lee (33/1) and White (80/1) proudly carrying the Mustard Cashmere’s of Team SB into Finals Day.

It seems like a great set up over in Belgium and worthy of an event with a lot more prize money at stake. I think that’s the thing which probably frustrates the players more than anything in that to all intents and purposes this has the feel of a major event with its big crowds and TV cameras, but they are on day one at least only really playing for relative peanuts.

Incidentally, yesterday also saw the blog pass the 4 million hits mark which continues to baffle me, but a big thank you to everyone who logs on, whether we communicate through the comments section or you are merely a frequent visitor who prefers to observe from the sidelines.

This morning I think I will kick off with a recommended 2 points accumulator on Tom Ford, Sam Craigie, Martin Gould and Jamie Burnett which pays just over 7/2 over at Apollobet.

Also the best of luck to Allan Taylor. The Assassin takes on Ken Doherty this morning.

Recommended 2nd Round Bet: 3 points win Sam Craigie to beat Luca Brecel at 8/11 with Apollobet.
