UK Championships Day Three Updates

Filed under: snookerbacker @ 12:00 pm

Ne Decombustulate pas.

Day Three gets underway at 12.30 with the afternoon seeing no fewer than eight matches playing to a conclusion.

It is also this afternoon when we find out whether the second blog named bet on the trot delivers at Skybet, with Shaun Murphy and Mark Williams holding leads, the Snookerbacker Enhanced Acca is looking promising.

But as I get older I get a bit more cautious and with the odds over at Betfair now layable on the two of them I’ll be making sure that the stake and a bit more is covered in the event of a decombustulation. There might still be a bit of snooker left in Murphy’s match as Paddy can be hard to shake off.

Jimmy and Stephen produced a bit of a hackfest yesterday after a great start but with it being so close we’ll all still be watching this afternoon. The Captain struggled and will be pleased to have come out level. Fu and Hawkins looks like being a tight one with Marco winning the last two frames of the session to draw level and Cope and Trump, which should be on the TV tables isn’t over by a long chalk.

Ronnie didn’t look like a world beater yesterday either and his pal Bingham will be hoping for more of the same today to make a match of it. We’ll see.

By the way, did anyone else notice that Shaun and Mark Selby seem to have been to the same hairdressers? Maybe it was a 2 for 1 deal knowing Smurf’s liking of bargains and discounts.
