Snookerbacker

And then there were, ermmm, not as many as this morning.

It is being reported from multiple sources that Martin Gould is now wanting nothing more to do the EGM motion.

This follows the withdrawal of one of the people who were actually being put forward, Jim McMahon, earlier today.

It’s actually now entered the history books as possibly the worst attempt at a coup in recent history.

Even by snooker’s standard this is half baked, in fact I’d argue that this one hadn’t even left the frozen food aisle from your local Iceland.

Anyway, let’s get back to the real action and the hours are now ticking away to enter the PTC Prediction Contest for the free £50 bet from Betfred here.

For anyone that has actually remembered that there is a tournament starting tomorrow, my main preview is here.

Will the last one leaving ‘Coup HQ’ please turn off the light? Thanks.

What a day, only in snooker……………………
