Shanghai Quarter Final Updates

Filed under: snookerbacker @ 6:58 am

Morning everyone. I think I’ll opt for a cooked breakfast this morning, though I don’t eat bacon or sausages (I like pigs) so I’ll be having an extra poached egg.

I’ll need something substantial as I have a very busy schedule and like I said in the preview below will be relying heavily on my right-hand man onestep to keep everyone updated on scores in the comments section.

For early risers with a bit of time on their hands, I see a certain Australian has been saying his piece on the  John Higgins verdict here. Also after the exclusive news last week that Willie was judging a scarecrow competition, the increasingly desperate antics of out-of-work snooker commentators continues here. Apparently John Parrott is in negotiations to be a guest judge at next week’s eagerly awaited Womens Institute Homemade Jam Making Contest in Sudbury, more news on that as it comes in.

7.30am (BST) starts

Jamie Burnett 5-4 Mark Davis

Graeme Dott 2-5 Jamie Cope

(Updated scores in the comments section – I’ll be back to update for this afternoon’s matches)

Anyone wanting a live link should check out this site and select the table you want to watch. I should be back to update things this afternoon for when Selby continues his path to glory.

A reminder to anyone commenting that if you leave an email address in the box provided your comment will appear instantly, it won’t be visible to anyone else and I won’t use it for anything. It’s simply a quirk of the blog provider.

Just also a word on the Prediction Contest, myself and Mrs SB will be working on the scores tonight and I should be able to post the leaderboard tomorrow before the semi-finals.
