Now let’s start by dispelling an urban myth. Graeme Dott is not only 3 feet tall, he is actually nearly 4 feet tall and even tops that when he is wearing his Cuban heels. But what the Pocket Dynamo lacks in height he certainly makes up for in other ways. Witness the terrier-like focus and will of Dotty when he’s in the zone and has got a paddy on about something or other (he gets easily riled). He’s like a dog with a bone, when Dotty’s in the mood it’s time for us all to run for cover as if you get in his way he’ll rip your head off and throw it to the vultures without a second thought. Now Dotty gets a bit angry sometimes that people don’t give him the credit he is due in the game, after all he won the world championship once, well I think he did, did he? Maybe I have that wrong I can’t remember, but anyway, ermm where was I? Who is this profile about again? Ahh yes him, he’s Welsh I think, I kind of recognise him, isn’t he the slow negative one? No, I’m only joking, we all love our Dotty, there is nobody I would rather share a mid-session cup of tea with than him. In fact on that note, Graeme is something of a rarity, he is actually the only person who is Scottish by birth and registered as still living in Scotland that doesn’t get trolleyed at least 6 times a week. A teetotal Scotsman, whatever next? But despite this weird quirk we still think Dotty is the tops.
